NRF2 regulates metabolism. NRF2 upregulates expression of genes involved in the glycolysis, glycogen metabolism, pentose phosphate pathway, one carbon metabolism, amino acid metabolism, nucleotide biosynthesis, glutaminolysis, fatty acid synthesis, heme metabolism, and glutathione synthesis and utilization (colored in red).
