组建新兴趣社团申请步骤

If you have a great idea for founding a new interest club, you can submit your application to the Student Servant Leadership Team (SSLDT) of Student Affairs Office. You should follow the steps below:

Step 1. You have to submit your application during the set time (i.e. March 1st to 15th in the second semester and Oct. 8th to 23rd in the first semester).

Step 2. You have to ensure that there is no similar principle or focus between your new proposed club and the existing BNBU organization (Student Union, Academic Societies, Hall Student Committee and Interest Clubs etc.). At the same time, the existing similar or same activities should not be included in the new proposed club. You can find the Organization List in the SSLDT website:（https://sao.uic.edu.cn/xszz/xsh.htm）. You are suggested to contact us first via [email protected] to confirm whether your new proposed club or its proposed activity is overlapped with the existing organizations or it is doable as a potential new club or not.

Starting from 2021, the requirements for the advisor of the new clubs to be invited are as follows: a. The advisor's specialty is related to the nature of the interest club, and can give professional guidance to the club; b. BNBU full-time staff; c. Not serving as an existing BNBU organization advisor.

Step 3. Download the Application Form for New Interest Club from the website of SSLDT (https://sao.uic.edu.cn/xszz/xsh.htm) and submit it to [email protected]. All applications should fulfill the requirements of Step 2.

Step 4. If your proposal is accepted, you will be invited to a meeting shortly after the application deadline. A short verbal presentation about your proposed club will be required for the meeting. And we will make the final decision after your presentation. The final decision cannot be appealed, but you can apply again in the next semester if you want.

Step 5. If you get the approval from SSLDT, you have to find at least one BNBU staff member to be the advisor of your club and help you finish the constitution of the interest club within a month.

Step 6. You need to recruit a minimum of 30 members and submit the name list to SSLDT.

Interpretation of the above content is subject to the Mandarin version of this procedure. In other words, in case of conflict between the Mandarin version of the procedure and the English one, the former is the one that will be interpreted as such.

Due to the limited resources that SSLDT can rely on, we can not guarantee all the proposed new clubs would be approved although you have followed the above steps in an appropriate manner.

SSLDT reserves all rights to interpreting the procedure as it seems fit.

如果你有建立一个新兴趣社团的想法，那么在每个学年的规定时间内，你可以向学生事务处服务型领袖发展组（SSLDT）提出申请。所有申请必须经过以下步骤：

步骤1. 在规定时间内提出申请。申请时间分别为每年的3月1日至3月15日及10月8日至10月23日，不接受其他时间段提出的新建兴趣社团申请。

步骤2. 申请人需确认新建兴趣社团①不得与现有学生组织（包括学生会，专业学会，宿舍会及兴趣社团等）性质相似及雷同，②同时不得与现有举办的学生活动相似及雷同。关于BNBU学生组织的组成，可以查看以下网址：（https://sao.uic.edu.cn/xszz/xsh.htm）。对于新建社团是否与现有学生组织或活动相似，以及是否有可能成为正式社团，建议申请人提前发送邮件至[email protected]预约咨询。③2021年起对新建社团拟邀请的社团指导老师要求如下：a.指导老师的专业与特长和兴趣社团性质相关，可以给予社团专业方面的指导；b.BNBU全职老师；c.未担任现有社团指导老师。

步骤3. 下载《新建兴趣社团申请表》（网址：https://sao.uic.edu.cn/xz/xszz.htm），并在规定时间内提交至[email protected]，所有申请必须符合步骤2的要求。

步骤4. 在申请截止后SSLDT将会组织会议讨论所有申请。经过会议讨论后，如初步接受申请，将会通知申请人参加答辩会。答辩会的决定将会是最终决定并且不能上诉，不过申请人可以在下个时间段再次提交申请。

步骤5. 通过答辩会的申请将会获得书面通知，申请人需在接到书面通知后1个月内找到至少一位社团指导老师并完成社团会章的制定。

步骤6. 会章通过后，社团需1个月时间内招募至少30名会员，招募完成后将名单提交至SSLDT后方可正式成立。

中英文内容如有冲突，以中文为准。

由于资源有限，即使你按照以上所有的程序申请新建社团，也不能满足所有的申请要求。
