Reselling Limited and Limited U Items
You can resell items that you have purchased from Roblox or other creators, provided they meet specific requirements.
Requirements to Resell
Membership: You must have an active Roblox Premium membership.
Item Type: The item must be marked as Limited or Limited U.
How to identify: Look for the "Limited" or "Limited U" tag icon underneath the item's image when browsing the Marketplace or viewing the item's details page.
How to List an Item for Sale
To sell an eligible item that you own, follow these steps:
Go to the item’s Details page
Scroll down to the Owned Items section (located under the price chart)
If you own multiple copies, select the specific copy you wish to sell
Click the Sell button next to that item
Enter your desired price in the box provided
Click Sell Now to list the item
Important Note on Holding Periods: After you purchase a Limited or Limited U item, it enters a generic holding period (up to 30 days). The item cannot be resold until this holding period ends.
Regional Restrictions
Please be aware of the following location-based restrictions:
Japan: Users in Japan may only resell Limited and Limited U items that were originally created by Roblox.
South Korea: Reselling items is currently restricted for users based in South Korea.
Pricing Your Sales
Please be very careful when setting your sale price.
If you accidentally set a low price and the item sells, Roblox cannot reverse the transaction or recover the item for you. Low-priced items often sell immediately, leaving no time to correct a mistake.
Receiving Your Robux
When your item sells, the earned Robux are not immediately available. They are placed in a Pending status.
When the holding period is over, the Robux will be added to your total balance.
You can track your sales and pending funds by viewing your My Transactions page.
