AJM, the current provider of wheelchair services in six of our eight London boroughs, will continue as the provider from 1 April 2024 following a successful tender application. Their services will also be expanding to Hillingdon and Harrow.

AJM Healthcare is a well-established and specialist provider of wheelchair services with over 30 years of experience. They currently provide wheelchair services across the UK on behalf of the NHS, supporting over 190,000 people with their posture and mobility needs.

The service will be delivered from two service centres from April 2024:

Park Royal - Unit 3, Abbey Road Industrial Park, Commercial Way, Park Royal, NW10 7XFHarrow - Unit 7, Eastman Edge, Harrow, HA1 4WL

This change will not disrupt the service people  currently receive.

Updated referral forms and eligibility criteria will be available on AJM Healthcare's website from the last week of March. Visit the AJM website.

AJM Healthcare is hosting two public events online to provide information on the services they provide, including: opening times, how to refer, key contact information, eligibility criteria and personal wheelchair budgets. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Until 31 March 2024, please continue to contact Opcare, the organisation that is currently responsible for wheelchair services in Harrow and Hillingdon, for queries relating to the service in these boroughs. AJM will be unable to assist with queries relating to Harrow and Hillingdon clients until 01 April 2024.
