摘要

摘要: 《了不起的盖茨比》是美国作家菲茨杰拉德的代表作。小说运用独特的艺术手法表现了以主人公盖茨比为代表的美国资产阶级新贵在爵士时代的生活状况。从精神生态批评视角出发，分别从物质主义盛行、道德缺失、理想幻灭三个层面分析小说中主要角色的形象及其面临的精神危机，并探讨《了不起的盖茨比》带给当今时代人们的启示和反思。

Abstract: The Great Gatsby is a masterpiece of the American writer Fitzgerald. With its unique artistic technique, the novel presents the living conditions of the American bourgeois in the Jazz era represented by Gatsby. From the perspective of spiritual ecological criticism, the essay analyzes the image of the main characters and the spiritual crisis they are facing in terms of the prevailing of materialism, the lack of morality and the disillusionment of ideals, and discusses the inspiration and reflection that The Great Gatsby brings to people at the present age.
