Just received an email from Foxtel saying my satellite installation is being reclassified to 'owner install'. This is part of the email:
".....This means you will own and be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the satellite dish and associated cabling for your Foxtel service........."
Only thing is I've never had a satellite and have been internet-connected to an IQ5 since the IQ5 was released.
Nothing surprises me from this useless crowd.

I just got the same email however we are satellite connected.
We don't have a tv antenna do have just been doing everything through what Foxtel gives us (we get the main channels just not the digital)

After this email I'm going to cancel Foxtel and use the savings to pay for a new aerial.. I don't see any value with Foxtel anymore, $100 bucks a month for what now? Everything's moved away to their various streaming services

If you have WiFi at home, add $30 for a fire tv stick and install 7plus, ABC iview, 9Now, Plex, Roku Channel and Tubi and you'd have more content than you could ever have time to watch.

Add a VPN to the USA for a less than $5 a month (for this purpose: surfshark, ipvanish or NordVPN would go well) and you've just unlocked loads of extra Tubi, plex and Roku content, including Live TV (legal and ad supported) not available in Australia

+1 for this. Except, I use an AppleTV box.

We have a TV aerial still, but if that dies, it won't be replaced. My aerial is not directly connected to a TV, just into a HDHomeRun CONNECT QUATRO and streamed to any device in the house and a channels DVR server.

I received the same email and I'm on internet iQ5 ... seems that Foxtel is a bit too lazy working out how to filter the bulk emails sent out.;)
