Is there a Yahoo-based account (any email account using Yahoo servers) configured in your Outlook.com?

To verify, from within Outlook, go to <File> --> <Account Settings> --> <Account Settings> --> <Email tab.

Sign into https://outlook.live.com to confirm if the issue persists.

However, you can try the troubleshooting steps below:

In Outlook, go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings, select the Exchange account and click "Change" button. Click "More Settings", in "Security tab", uncheck "Always prompt for logon credentials".

Also remove stored credentials in Credential Manager:

Press the Windows key on your keyboard and type Credential Manager in the search box.

Click on Credential Manager to open it.

Under Windows Credentials, click on Generic Credentials.

Find all related logins to your Yahoo and Outlook accounts and delete or remove them.

Launch Outlook and check if you are still prompted for credentials.
