Ah, a little gotcha.
So, it has to be in Recycle Bin, and the Undo is merely a retrieval from there.
Partly correct. It has to be the last action (ex: Copy, Move, Delete, etc...) that you did to be able to undo/redo it.

So, if I so happen to rename a file, THEN delete it, there's no way to get the previous name back?
Because presumably the undo would only be able to bring it back from trash.

Correct. You'll have to manually rename it back.
