AOL freezes

Every 10 minutes or so my computer will freeze for about a minute and then continues. This also only happens when I try to go to another page, AOL freezes when it tries to load the page. I checked everything with the AOL and it is all in order and I have plenty of memory.
I understand there has been a lot of problems with the DELL/AOL combination. If anyone knows the solution please help.
