亲子关系与青少年问题行为的关系是发展心理学的重要研究课题。良好的亲子关系可促进青少年的健康发展，而不良的亲子关系显著正向预测青少年的问题行为。

亲子关系问卷由16个项目组成，其中8个项目分别侧重于亲子关系和母子关系(Stattin& Kerr,2000)。该问卷采用三点计分法:分别计算父子关系和母子关系的平均分。得分越低表示父子关系和母子关系越差，得分越高表示父子关系越好。有学者研究中亲子关系问卷的 Cronbach's α 系数为0.76，其中母子关系问卷的 Cronbach's α 系数为0.66，父子关系问卷的 Cronbach's α 系数为0.67。具体题目如:“你对妈妈或爸爸感到失望吗”、“你和妈妈或爸爸相互了解吗”。张婷丹研究中，父子关系、母子关系问卷的内部一致性 α 系数分别为 0.72、0.72。

“How often do you feel proud of your mother?”
“Do you accept your mother the way she is?”
“How often do you feel angry or irritated by your mother?”
“Does your mother support and encourage you?”

They answered the same questions about their fathers.
