To close a poll in a Microsoft Teams channel without deleting it, follow these steps: 

Locate the Poll: Find the poll you want to close in the channel. View Results: Click on the poll to open it, then look for the "View results" option. Close the Poll: Click the drop-down arrow next to "View results" and select "Close poll".

This will stop further voting while keeping the poll and its results accessible.
