I received an email saying that i signed up for a Microsoft business account, and an invoice for $500 + dollars

I was in the process of adding a device to my MIcrosoft Defender account, I have a FAMILY account, that isnt due for a payment until later this year? I looked on my Microsoft dashboard, and it doesnt show up. Can I forward the email somewhere for you to see it?

Hello,

If you don't have a business account, you can simply ignore it.

It can be either a phishing scam.

OR

It can be because someone else signed up for a business account, and due to typo, accidentally left your email address as their contact info.
